Praise for The Australian SAS leather VIP box-set (out of stock)
Received the leather box this morning and what a fabulous presentation set it is. You and your team have achieved an amazing outcome with this history of the Regiment, Bruce, and I for one am enormously proud of the set and being an old soldier of the Regiment. You have done us all proud mate…
Heartfelt thanks old chap.
I’ll relish and treasure it as something I can pass on to my twin grandsons when the great conveyor belt of life drops me off. Congratulations on putting together a superb piece of history, Bruce. I’ve produced a great many documentaries myself so was able to figure out some of the daunting obstacles you must have faced, and surmounted. It’s an example of perseverance that is truly in keeping with the character of the unit whose story you have told.
Elegant! Authentic! Entertaining and compelling! … No gloss! Tells it the way it was and brings to life again the camaraderie, exhilaration, tension and fear while serving with the Australian SAS Regiment in war.
Trooper Harry W, 1 SAS Squadron, Vietnam, 1967–68
Mate, I think the DVDs are bloody great. I know a lot of the blokes interviewed and I think you've done a fantastic job. Congratulations.
Signaller John M, 152 Signals Squadron SAS, Borneo and Vietnam
My brother-in-law, Snow G, who was one of the very first group of 1957 SAS Coy originals, was over the moon about your series. He’s 80 now and has very limited mobility because his spine has paid him back for all the things he did to it as a Happy Wanderer. But just for a while after that newscast of your official launch he was a young bloke again and as proud as a man can be. Your doco series has meant a lot to him.
